The City of Edina, Minnesota is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop and implement a comprehensive public engagement strategy to support the City's 2050 Comprehensive Plan Update. The selected consultant will design and execute engagement activities that validate the community's long-term vision (Vision Edina), identify priorities and cross-cutting themes, and satisfy Metropolitan Council community engagement requirements. The scope includes project coordination, development of an engagement strategy, planning and facilitation of at least two major community engagement events, additional targeted outreach to underrepresented populations, support for advisory boards and commissions, communications and outreach using the City's Better Together Edina online platform, and analysis and reporting of engagement results. The consultant will also prepare a final public engagement report summarizing findings and recommendations for incorporation into the Comprehensive Plan. The City anticipates a budget of $40,000 to $50,000 for this work.
