Description
The project will replace the existing grass baseball field at UW-Oshkosh with a rubber-and-sand infill synthetic turf system. Work includes furnishing and installing athletic field equipment, field markings and logos, fencing and gates, concrete curbs and pavement, drainage and storm sewer improvements, site grading, erosion control, restoration, and related demolition. The contractor must provide qualified synthetic turf installation personnel, shop drawings, product data, testing, maintenance training, and required warranty documentation. The scope also includes replacing the existing baseball scoreboard, installing additional lighting and associated electrical infrastructure, and completing related grounding, conduit, wiring, and site utility work. Bidding uses a single-prime process: successful mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection bids identified by the owner must be incorporated into the general prime contractor's lump-sum bid. Bidders must be Wisconsin Department of Administration-certified. A 10% bid guarantee is required, and the successful contractor must provide separate 100% performance and payment bonds after award.
