Description
Metro's Capital Asset Management Department is conducting Step One of a two-step Invitation to Bid process for the St. Johns Landfill Bridge Repair Project. The selected work will repair the existing bridge, increase its capacity to support a single 17-ton vehicle, and restore vehicular access needed for maintenance and operation of landfill and utility infrastructure. Only bidders that prequalify in Step One may participate in Step Two, where price bids will be considered. Bidders submitting public-improvement bids exceeding $50,000 must comply with applicable Oregon prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must also document required outreach to state-certified minority-owned, emerging small, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, and submit certifications of good-faith compliance and actual utilization at bid opening.
