Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting a contractor to provide janitorial services for approximately 99,458 square feet at the Disabilities Determination Services facility. Services must be performed Monday through Friday during business hours, with three employees providing a total of 24 dedicated person-hours per day. The contractor must furnish all cleaning supplies, restroom and paper products, equipment, dispensers' products, and ongoing inventory replenishment. The scope includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semiannual cleaning activities, including floor, wall, restroom, glass, furniture, carpet, window, blind, ceiling, and fixture cleaning; trash removal; floor stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing; carpet extraction; and supply replenishment. The contractor must provide on-site management and inspections, screen employees and conduct annual criminal background checks, use only its own employees for the work, maintain confidentiality documentation, and provide required material safety data sheets. The contract has an initial period through November 30, 2027, with four optional two-year renewal periods. A minimum of three years' experience providing janitorial or janitorial management services is required, with verification documentation submitted with the bid.
