Description
The City of Elmira and Chemung County are soliciting sealed bids for renovations to the caretaker's house at Woodlawn Cemetery, located at 1126 Walnut Street, Elmira, New York. Bids must include a bid bond equal to 5% of the total gross sum bid; cash deposits are not accepted. The project has a 5% disadvantaged business enterprise participation requirement and encourages woman- and minority-owned business participation. Bidders must execute and attach the required Certification Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and comply with the stated Section 3 and equal-opportunity requirements. A pre-bid conference is scheduled at the caretaker's house, and electronic or faxed bids will not be accepted.
