Description
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center is issuing a Commercial Solutions Opening to obtain innovative commercial products, technologies, and services for a new high-performance computing system acquisition and support-services model. The requirement covers systems combining compute-intensive, primarily CPU-based architectures with primarily GPU-based artificial intelligence and machine-learning platforms. Proposed solutions may include research and development and may support unclassified, Secret, and above-Secret environments. The anticipated scope includes designing, manufacturing, delivering, installing, operating, and maintaining one or more systems distributed across one to three supercomputing centers. On-premises operations must comply with applicable Department of War and local Service policies concerning physical, personnel, and cybersecurity. Resulting FAR-based contracts will be firm-fixed-price; the agency may alternatively use an Other Transaction. Responses must be submitted through the ERDCWERX platform.
