Description
Hilldale School District is seeking dedicated internet access at 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps, plus 10 Gbps leased lit fiber between its high school and elementary school. Internet proposals should include pricing for both bandwidth options, identify installation charges, and be based on a three-year term; the district also requests an optional leased router. Fiber proposals should include optional leased switches and use a three-year term. The district requests up to 12 months of month-to-month internet service after the initial term or any voluntary renewal if it transitions providers. The internal-connections scope includes cabling and network equipment for two projects: fiber runs, compatible transceivers, routers, switches, and three-year licensing for existing wireless access points, as well as five Ruckus R650 access points with three-year licensing. The district also seeks a manufacturer support contract for 180 existing Ruckus R650 access points. Category 2 bidders must attend one of the mandatory site visits, bid the entire applicable project, and provide compatibility documentation where required. Refurbished equipment and equipment from manufacturers identified as national security threats are not accepted.
