Description
Grand View School District 34 is soliciting bids for Category One dedicated Internet access and data transmission service. The district currently has 1 Gbps bandwidth and seeks to increase service to 2 Gbps, while accepting proposals up to 5 Gbps. Bids must identify the proposed bandwidth and associated pricing, provide guaranteed bandwidth with synchronous speeds, and identify all installation charges, fees, surcharges, taxes, and any ineligible bundled services requiring cost allocation. The selected provider must participate in the E-rate program, hold a valid non-red-light Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN), be eligible to provide OUSF support, offer the applicant a choice of SPI or BEAR discount methods, and permit SPIN changes. The contract is contingent on E-rate funding and final board approval. After the initial term or any voluntary renewal term, the vendor must offer up to 12 months of month-to-month service during transition to a new provider and include that monthly cost in its proposal. Any technology may be proposed, including applicable tariffed or NECA rates.
