The Rhode Island State Police is seeking 26 new model-year 2027 vehicles: 14 Ford Police Interceptor Utility patrol SUVs, six Ford Police Interceptor Utility detective/administrative SUVs, and six Ford F-150 Police Responder pickups for K9 and detective/administrative use. The solicitation specifies vehicle configurations, colors, equipment, and accessories for each category. Bidders must provide per-vehicle pricing, including delivery to the designated upfitters, within six months of ordering; vehicles must be new, have fewer than 100 miles, and arrive with a full tank of fuel. Bidders must be authorized dealers for the proposed manufacturer and provide a copy of their new-vehicle dealer license, evidence of manufacturer authorization, a list of manufacturer makes they can offer, and a copy of the vehicle specification labeled with the applicable bid item number. Experience supplying vehicles to government or commercial fleets is preferred.
