Description
The City of Los Angeles Harbor Department seeks annual on-call scaffolding rental and related services, including sectional, tube-and-clamp, and system scaffolding; rolling towers; trench shoring; power swings; and seating products. The contractor must provide delivery, erection, dismantling, cleanup, and related labor, as well as rental of associated equipment and replacement parts. The bid worksheet requests unit rental rates for numerous scaffolding components and labor rates, and the bid package also requests pricing for four example scaffolding jobs. The initial term is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with two optional one-year renewal periods. The estimated annual expenditure is $350,000, with no guarantee that this amount will be reached or not exceeded. The contractor must maintain applicable insurance, provide a supervisor on site during erection and dismantling, and comply with prevailing-wage and California Department of Industrial Relations registration requirements.
