Description
The U.S. Forest Service is seeking two new lightweight, low-displacement off-road motorcycles for trail maintenance and patrols. Each motorcycle must have a 125–150 cc engine, a maximum curb weight of 210 pounds, a maximum seat height of 34.1 inches, an engine skid plate suitable for off-road use, heavy-duty aluminum-frame hand guards with plastic covers suitable for enduro riding, chainsaw racks, and at least 10.5 inches of ground clearance. Air-cooled or liquid-cooled engines are acceptable. The award is anticipated to be a firm-fixed-price contract for all items, with delivery required 90 days after receipt of order on an FOB destination basis. Quotations must include pricing for the complete schedule, a product brochure or build sheet demonstrating compliance with the technical specifications, the Buy American Certificate, and the proposed delivery date. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside under NAICS 336991. The contractor must provide 72 hours' notice before delivery and is responsible for safe transportation.
