The West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner seeks a qualified vendor to conduct a statutory financial examination of Municipal Mutual Insurance Company for the examination period January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2026. The work must comply with West Virginia law and the NAIC Financial Condition Examiners Handbook. The vendor will plan and perform examination procedures, coordinate and supervise the examination team, document findings in work papers, provide monthly status reports and meetings, and prepare a formal report of examination and, if applicable, a management letter. The report is due within 14 calendar days after fieldwork is completed, and the vendor must deliver the completed electronic work papers to the state. The vendor must provide qualified examination leadership, staff, IT and actuarial specialists, including specified professional credentials and experience. The quotation must include objectives and tasks, deliverables and schedule, relevant experience and three references, personnel resumes, a detailed work plan, and hourly rates and fees for financial examination, supervisory review, actuarial review, and IT review. Examination work is anticipated to be conducted remotely without travel expenses.
