Description
Joplin Schools is soliciting professional employee benefits consulting and brokerage services; insurance quotations are not requested. The scope covers self-funded medical and pharmacy benefits, stop-loss, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, strategic planning, renewal negotiations, claims containment, clinical and care-navigation coordination, analytics, actuarial and reserve planning, pharmacy and PBM evaluation, employee education, claims advocacy, compliance, enrollment and billing support, and transition coordination. The selected broker will support marketing, evaluation, open enrollment, and related transitions for the October 1, 2027 plan year. The proposed agreement runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with three optional one-year renewals at the District's discretion. Proposals must address the required technical sections, team qualifications, three comparable references, pricing and compensation transparency, a proposed agreement, exceptions, certification, and addenda acknowledgments. The main response is limited to 20 pages, excluding pricing, references, certification, and a sample appendix of up to 10 pages. Missouri business or office status and qualifying Missouri service-disabled veteran business status must be identified and documented; qualifying service-disabled veteran businesses may receive a three-point evaluation bonus.
