The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Public Health, Office of Health Informatics, is seeking a pool of resources holding the Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) credential to support the Wisconsin Cancer Reporting System. Services include cancer case finding and abstraction; case consolidation, de-duplication, and remerging; data-quality edits and corrections; auditing and review; and consultation regarding Solid Tumor Rules and abstraction best practices. Work must follow Wisconsin reporting guidance, national standards, and applicable CDC requirements. Vendors must provide qualified ODS staff with specified experience in cancer registry reporting, CDC Registry Plus software, medical knowledge, and cancer data analysis. The awarded vendors will handle confidential and HIPAA-related information, provide their own computers, perform services within the United States, and submit recurring work logs. The State intends to award up to five contracts, with a three-year term and two additional one-year renewal options by mutual agreement.
