Description
Fox Valley Technical College is soliciting bids for on-site rebuild and maintenance services for eleven Clausing 15-inch Group 600 engine lathes. The work includes leveling, headstock and tailstock alignment, carriage and slide adjustments, clutch and spindle inspections, spindle-taper grinding if needed, machine-function inspections, and precision leveling. The supplier must furnish and install specified 4-jaw and 6-jaw chucks, a Morse Taper 5 live center, and a headstock center bushing. The supplier must coordinate scheduling with college staff, remove no more than two lathes from service at once without written approval, provide a signed service report for each lathe, perform all work on site, and complete the services no later than March 31, 2027. Pricing must include labor and travel time.
