Description
Frederick County Public Schools is soliciting unit prices for labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to repair, replace, and install concrete sidewalks and sidewalk ramps, curbed gutters, freestanding curbs, slabs, stairs, bollards, and related concrete work. The scope includes excavation, compacted stone, reinforcing mesh or rebar, 4,000-PSI concrete, forming, finishing, demolition, debris removal, inspections, and restoration of disturbed areas with topsoil, seed, mulch, or Maryland-certified sod. Additional unit-priced work includes crack and joint sealing, saw cutting, pinning to existing structures, grading, construction-debris disposal, equipment mobilization, trucking, and labor or materials for nonstandard work. Work must comply with applicable ADA, ACI, ASTM, OSHA/MOSHA, and Maryland requirements. The contract is effective from award through November 1, 2027, with two additional one-year renewal options at the Board's discretion. Bidders must submit separate technical and cost proposals electronically through OpenGov Procurement, including the required proposal forms, questionnaire, certifications, W-9, and applicable insurance certificate.
