Description
The City of Miami Beach is seeking a contractor to provide citywide window washing services at approximately two dozen municipal facilities. The scope includes labor, equipment, supplies, mobilization, exterior perimeter windows, vestibules, and specified interior perimeter windows above 10 feet, including skylights. Contractors must furnish suitable access equipment for elevated surfaces, maintain clean worksites, meet specified cleaning standards, obtain Facility Zone Manager approval before work, and provide time-stamped before-and-after photographs with invoices. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of commercial window-washing experience and experience servicing buildings of at least three stories, including at least three similar projects completed within the last two years. The estimated annual budget is approximately $70,000, with a maximum contract expenditure of $100,000. The resulting agreement is expected to remain valid until the $100,000 maximum has been expended. Insurance requirements include workers' compensation or an applicable exemption, commercial general liability of at least $300,000 per occurrence, and automobile liability of at least $300,000 per accident.
