Description
The college seeks a contractor to remove asbestos tile and adhesive, remove existing carpet, prepare floors by repairing and leveling them, and install new carpet and cove base in classrooms. The work also includes removing and reinstalling furniture, cleaning up, and properly disposing of removed materials and debris. The contractor must complete the work during the college’s winter break, December 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027, and comply with applicable asbestos-remediation and safety requirements. Carpet and cove-base specifications and acceptable carpet options are provided. The contractor is responsible for required permits and licenses. The bid must include the completed bidding schedule; award is based on the lowest responsible and responsive bid.
