Description
The project involves constructing approximately 3,000 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water line and 1,250 linear feet of 14-inch HDPE water line installed by directional drilling. The work also includes four fire hydrant assemblies and reconnection of 38 existing water services. Bidders must provide bid security equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, in the form of a certified check or bid bond. The successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds and insurance covering fire, extended coverage, vandalism, and malicious mischief equal to the actual value of the insured property during construction. Bidders must be legally qualified under South Carolina contractor licensing law and hold a WL classification. Bidders must also be official plan holders and appear on the plan holders list maintained by AECOM Technical Services, Inc.
