Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is requesting quotations for two magnet-wire line items totaling 1,650 pounds. Line item 0001 requires 1,320 pounds of heavy-build NEMA MW1000 magnet wire with 200°C enamel, double polyester/glass insulation, epoxy varnish, NEMA 55-C compliance, part number MW55CHD135240N, supplied on six separate 24-inch reels weighing 220 pounds each. Each reel must contain one continuous length, with an allowed quantity variance of -0/+10%. Line item 0002 requires 330 pounds of round #6 AWG dual-film magnet wire using polyester-amide-imide resin in accordance with ANSI/NEMA MW-1000/MW 35-C, part number MW035CSX00006N, supplied on one 24-inch, 330-pound reel with one continuous length. All reels must be shipped standing on edge. This is a 100% small-business set-aside evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable criteria, with a single award contemplated for all items. Quotations must include pricing, FOB point, manufacturer information when the quoter is not the manufacturer, CAGE Code, business size, point-of-contact information, applicable GSA contract number, payment-method preference, and confirmation of capability to meet the specifications.
