Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) requires helicopter services for capturing large mammals statewide, including species such as deer, bighorn sheep, elk, pronghorn antelope, mountain lion, and wolf. The services will involve close pursuit for net gunning or darting, or herding animals into traps. Flights will be conducted at both standard (up to 10,000 feet ASL) and high elevational ranges (10,000 to 13,000 feet ASL), with the majority occurring between 4,000 and 9,000 feet ASL. The contract term is from the date of California Department of General Services contract approval through June 30, 2029, with a potential one-year extension.
