Description
Monroe School District seeks proposals for 27 new, manufacturer-supported, enterprise-grade PoE switches or equivalents, related eligible components, and basic maintenance for switches and firewall components. The requested switch quantities are 19 48-port switches and 8 24-port switches. The district also seeks a 12-month renewal of its FortiGate Basic Firewall subscription or equivalent. Vendors may bid on the switch option, the firewall renewal option, or both. Proposals must include taxes, identify and cost-allocate any ineligible items, and offer the lowest corresponding price. Respondents must provide a complete bill of materials, manufacturer part numbers, installation and warranty documentation, and post-installation validation materials where applicable. At submission, respondents must email their bids to Jill Stone by November 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM PST. Required proposal components include Appendix A certification, Appendix C intent-to-bid letter, Appendix D pricing spreadsheet, a brief agency background, a proposed contract, manufacturer warranties for hardware, three references, and compatibility documentation when proposing alternatives to the specified equipment. Reseller authorization is required when applicable. Respondents must have a valid SPIN and current SPAC on file with USAC and be in Green Light status. The district may award all or part of the work to one or more respondents. The contract term begins upon E-rate funding approval; installation or services are expected to start on or about July 1, 2027.
