Description
The City of Waterville is soliciting bids for one new, unused, standard-production 26,000-GVW, 4x2 single-axle diesel cab/chassis truck. The specified chassis includes a Cummins L9 330-horsepower engine, Allison 3000 RDS automatic transmission with PTO, heavy-duty axles and suspension, full air brakes, specified tires and wheels, and related chassis equipment. The awarded bidder must furnish and install a 6–7 cubic-yard Grade 304 stainless-steel side-dump spreader with hydraulic conveyor and spinner, hoist, side-tilt system, controls, lighting, camera systems, and related accessories. The scope also includes furnishing and installing an 11-foot heavy-duty reversible trip-edge plow, 10-foot wing, front hitch, hydraulic controls, plow and wing lighting, and associated equipment. Installation begins after delivery of the truck chassis; the bidder must provide at least four hours of on-site training and OEM parts, service, and operator manuals. Manufacturer’s standard warranties apply. The bid form requires pricing for the complete unit and identifies a trade-in allowance for a 2012 International 7400 with side-dump body and plow gear.
