Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is requesting 72 super sacks of 20/40 fine-grade coal slag abrasive grit, Type II, Class 7, Grade B, meeting MIL-PRF-22262C and QPL 22262 requirements. Each sack must contain 4,000 pounds. The grit must be dry and delivered by truck in nine staggered deliveries of eight sacks each, on an as-needed basis, to accommodate storage limitations. Delivery coordination and flexible rescheduling or cancellation are required; the vendor must state applicable cancellation fees and delivery capabilities. The quotation must include pricing, delivery and FOB information, country of origin, manufacturer details when the quoter is not the manufacturer, and descriptive literature demonstrating compliance. Non-manufacturer quoters must also provide traceability documentation. The offer must include the completed representation at DFARS 252.204-7016. Material safety data sheets and certificates of quality conformance are required with deliveries as specified in the data requirements exhibit.
