The Navy seeks a parts kit for a 3/4-inch ball valve consisting of one ball and two mating seats. The ball must meet specified drawing and material requirements, including SAE-AMS-6931, and the seats must use graphite-filled urethane manufactured by Mearthane Products Inc. The ball requires a hydrostatic test at 1,875 PSI for 30 minutes, with dye penetrant inspection permitted as a substitute under the stated conditions. The solicitation also specifies coating, dimensional checks, marking, and material traceability requirements. This is designated special-emphasis material for a critical shipboard system and carries extensive quality assurance obligations.
