Description
The Navy seeks a pressure bleed block conforming to Vacco drawing S3C10012, part number S3C10012-01. The item is designated special-emphasis material for use in a critical shipboard system. Requirements include specified stainless-steel materials, material traceability and certifications, and hydrostatic and leak testing of each assembly at the stated pressures. Additional corrosion and nondestructive testing apply when the specified material or welding conditions trigger them. The contractor must maintain the required quality system and provide the applicable certificates, test results, and objective quality evidence. If the offeror is not the original equipment manufacturer, it must identify the OEM and provide a signed distributor authorization letter on the OEM’s letterhead.
