Description
The Town seeks firm, all-inclusive pricing to remove 314 existing meters and install Town-furnished replacement meters and compatible AMR transponders at designated service connections. Work includes verifying meter operation and transponder pairing, recording old and new meter readings and serial numbers, coordinating service interruptions, restoring affected sites, and lawfully disposing of or recycling the removed meters. The contractor must provide a complete electronic installation log and itemize installation, disposal, and other costs in the proposal. All installations, required records, and the final invoice must be completed and submitted by December 15, 2026. The proposal must include company and contact details, relevant municipal water-meter experience, a work plan and schedule, the completed pricing form, confirmation of required licenses and insurance, and a signed certification committing to the deadline. The Town furnishes the meters and transponders; the contractor supplies labor, tools, and incidental materials.
