Description
The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority is soliciting bids for Phase 4 site development and associated airfield improvements to prepare land for future aircraft manufacturing facilities. The work includes clearing and grubbing, mass earthwork, filling existing stream channels, permanent stormwater management facilities, erosion and sediment control, site grading, seeding, mulching, and incidental related work. Bidders must be prequalified by the North Carolina Department of Transportation and properly licensed under North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 87; subcontractors must be prequalified before beginning work. A 5% bid security is required, and the successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The pre-bid conference is scheduled for November 3, 2026, and written questions are due November 13, 2026.
