Description
Snohomish County Public Utility District No. 1 is soliciting a general contractor to clean and rehabilitate the Storm Lake Ridge Reservoir and eliminate visible leakage from its reinforced-concrete structure. The work includes high-pressure water blasting of the exposed exterior wall and roof, cleaning efflorescence, mold, mildew, dirt, and debris, and polyurethane chemical grout injection of approximately 10 to 20 leaking cracks or locations. Construction must maintain service from the existing reservoir, with workdays Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel, permits, and incidental work; contain wastewater and prevent runoff; perform reinjection as needed until leakage is eliminated; and restore the site. The engineer's estimate is $120,000. The contractor must be registered on the District's Small Works Roster in the Water Facility Painting and Cleaning category, or submit the required roster application with the bid if not already registered. No bid bond is required. The project is anticipated to start in October 2026, with an 18-month warranty from final acceptance.
