Description
The project covers four work zones at École secondaire Barthélemy-Joliette: replacement of the ventilation system in Wing B; French drain, insulation, and masonry repairs; replacement of the gymnasium floor and other interior work; and advance procurement and installation work for a new electrical service entrance and its components. The work is phased, with specified start and substantial/final acceptance dates extending from May 2027 through January 2028. Work in the occupied building after teachers return must be performed outside class hours, and specified ceiling, lighting, electrical, and fire alarm systems must remain functional. Electrical outages after August 13, 2027, if needed, must occur in the evening or on weekends.
