Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a quotation for one helical compression spring, NSN 5360-01-165-2289, part number XB-1028-1, manufactured by SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. The requested delivery period is 20 days after award, with delivery FOB origin and inspection and acceptance at destination. The item must be packaged in accordance with ASTM D3951, marked and labeled in accordance with MIL-STD-129, and shipped by a traceable method; parcel post is prohibited. Alternate offers require a complete data package for both the approved and alternate parts because adequate evaluation data is not available. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the stated deadline.
