Description
The City of Watsonville is soliciting bids for electrical improvements at River Park. The work includes demolishing the existing electrical service panel, utility pole, lighting, and related infrastructure; installing a new PG&E underground electrical service, service conduit, splice enclosure, meter panel, conductors, grounding, and accessories; and reconnecting the existing building. Related work includes trenching, backfilling, concrete piers and minor concrete restoration, utility coordination, inspections, temporary construction controls, and compliance with applicable electrical codes and PG&E requirements. The project is limited to electrical work; fence demolition and relocation shown on the drawings are excluded. Bidders must hold a California Class C electrical contractor's license and be registered for California public works. The engineer's estimate is $100,000. Bids must include the required bidder questionnaire responses, statement of experience, proposed subcontractor list, non-collusion declaration, and required performance and payment bonds. Bid security is expressly no longer required.
