Description
Park City Municipal Corporation seeks a transportation provider to operate a free winter shuttle between Mid-Mountain Trailhead and Empire Pass, connecting with Park City Transit’s 9 Purple Route and serving the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area. Service is generally planned for Fridays through Sundays during the 2026–2027 winter season, with peak and non-peak schedules, and may be adjusted for weather, road conditions, funding, and demand. Up to four one-year extensions may be exercised. The provider must supply vehicles suitable for steep mountain roads and winter conditions, each accommodating at least 11 passengers, four fat-tire bicycles, and four sets of skis and/or snowshoes. The service must permit leashed and muzzled dogs, provide qualified drivers and winter-safety training, maintain backup-vehicle arrangements, coordinate schedules with the transit route, and provide real-time vehicle location, direction, and ridership data. The proposal must include firm qualifications and references, service and staffing, vehicle and contingency, safety and training, data, cost, and insurance-compliance information. Proposals are limited to seven pages. A completed Business Confidentiality Request Form and a redacted proposal are required only when requesting confidential treatment of proposal material.
