Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking quotations for civil construction works supporting the installation of AL10M mast synoptic weather stations across five lots: Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria, Western Equatoria, Lakes, and Jonglei states in South Sudan. Bidders may quote for one or more lots, provided they meet the requirements for each lot and can perform concurrent projects. The scope includes site clearance and setting out; excavation and reinforced concrete foundations for the mast, guy wires, and T-shaped sheaths; concrete blocks and curing; and approximately 10-by-15-meter perimeter fencing with galvanized chain-link mesh, steel posts and rails, razor wire, tension wire, and pedestrian and vehicle gates. The bidder must submit gender-mainstreaming commitment documentation, relevant construction experience, at least three similar civil-works contracts from 2023–2025 including one valued at least USD 100,000, copies of contracts or purchase orders, equipment ownership or lease evidence, personnel CVs, and a detailed Gantt-chart implementation schedule. The financial offer requires a completed Bill of Quantities in Excel and signed, stamped PDF formats. Payment is structured as 30% at 40% completion, 60% at 100% completion, and 10% after a 365-day liability period.
