Description
The City of Pasadena Fire Department is soliciting a vendor to provide a redundant-capability, 1,400–1,600-amp three-phase silent diesel generator and associated temporary power distribution equipment for New Year's Day operations. The generator must provide at least 100 kW, operate at no more than 60 dB at 7 meters, include a minimum 200-liter fuel tank and 12-hour full-load runtime, comply with EPA Tier 4 standards, and include automatic voltage regulation, overload protection, and remote monitoring. The scope includes five 50-foot cam wires, a 300-amp distro box, five pigtails, a 100-foot Bates cable, a 100-amp box with at least ten 120V sockets, five walkover panels, and a 10-pound minimum ABC fire extinguisher. The vendor must conduct a pre-event site consultation; deliver, set up, maintain, and remove the equipment; provide at least two qualified on-site technicians during the event; and provide basic operator training. Responses must include electronic portal pricing, the required City forms, a completed Relevant Experience Form demonstrating two similar governmental projects or contracts, and a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid price.
