Description
The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is seeking a qualified vendor to provide all-inclusive janitorial services for ten rustic family vacation cabins at Hanging Rock State Park. The scope includes approximately 620 routine cleanings annually, with service required after guest rentals and generally within 24 hours of a service call. Services include trash removal, floor cleaning, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, cleaning windows and porches, dusting, furniture care, replenishing designated supplies, inventory reviews, and returning cabin keys to the park office. The vendor must provide labor, supervision, cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment; toilet paper and trash bags will be supplied by the Department. The contract also includes optional annual deep-cleaning services for each cabin, including cleaning behind and beneath furniture and appliances, walls, ceilings, windows, blinds, drawers, shelves, cupboards, light fixtures, and upholstery. The vendor must designate an on-site supervisor, provide at least one English-speaking worker, comply with inspection and reporting requirements, and may not subcontract without prior written State consent. The contract term is January 5, 2027, through January 4, 2030.
