Description
The City of Winston-Salem is soliciting formal bids for approximately 12,375 uniforms and related accessories for the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Items include men's and women's shirts, trousers, jackets, hats, caps, ties, beanies, safety vests, raincoats, name bars, and other tactical apparel from specified manufacturers and models. No substitutions will be accepted unless an alternate is approved in writing before bid closing. The vendor must provide measurement services in Forsyth County, including recurring on-site visits; alterations, hemming, sewing, patch and insignia attachment, and embroidery; packaging by division and employee; complete-order delivery within 14 or 30 days depending on order size; and a web-based online store for ordering and inventory replenishment. Bidders must submit the furnished bid forms, descriptive literature or complete specifications, and a signed and notarized proposal. The contract is expected to run from January 1, 2027, through June 30, 2029, with an option for up to two additional years by mutual agreement.
