Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting dental services for residents of San Angelo State Supported Living Center. The contractor must provide comprehensive and limited dental examinations, consultations, radiographs, preventive and periodontal services, deep scaling and root planing, extractions, periodontal procedures, crown procedures and crown lengthening, biopsies, denture procedures, pathology evaluations, and services before and after surgery. The licensed dentist must provide annual examinations, evaluations, consultations, and treatment as appropriate; maintain, clean, sterilize, and perform preventive maintenance on dental equipment; document findings and treatment summaries; and clinically oversee ancillary personnel. Services are generally required Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, with a four-hour response requirement for service calls and a one-hour on-site response requirement for approved emergency services. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, provide three verifiable references for similar contracts performed within the last five years, and submit applicable dental, DEA, ancillary personnel, and CPR credentials. The initial contract term begins upon award and expires August 31, 2027, with no renewals, although HHSC may extend performance for up to one year for continuity or transition purposes.
