Description
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, through the Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities, is soliciting a vendor for janitorial services at a 2,764-square-foot, one-story office. Services are scheduled on Wednesdays after 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays and include trash removal, dusting, surface cleaning, vacuuming, floor care, restroom cleaning and disinfection, glass cleaning, blind cleaning, and periodic carpet shampooing and tile or linoleum stripping, waxing, and buffing. The vendor must provide labor, commercial-quality equipment, cleaning chemicals, disinfectants registered on the Environmental Protection Agency's applicable list, paper products, hand soap, air fresheners, and heavy-duty trash liners. The contract has an initial one-year term with up to two additional one-year renewal terms. A mandatory site visit is required, and bids must be submitted electronically through the State's electronic Vendor Portal with the specified execution pages, pricing attachment, worker-location form, federal-grant certifications, and any required addenda receipt pages.
