Description
This sealed-bid construction contract covers improvements to 168th Street East from SR-7 to B Street East. The roadway will be widened to provide one through lane in each direction and a center turn lane between A Street South and B Street East. The work includes concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, bike lanes, north-side on-street parking, enclosed storm drainage conveyance, stormwater treatment and infiltration facilities, street lighting, traffic signal modifications at the 168th Street East/B Street East intersection, and related work required by the plans and specifications. Federal-aid construction provisions apply, including Davis-Bacon labor standards, federal nondiscrimination and debarment certifications, lobbying certification requirements, and a 30 percent self-performance requirement for the prime contractor.
