Description
The Department of Homeland Security, through its Office of Procurement Operations on behalf of the Science and Technology Directorate, intends to award a sole-source contract for Voice Interoperability Framework Research and Analysis. The effort focuses on improving, testing, and assessing interoperable broadband Push-to-Talk and Mission Critical Services solutions for public safety and DHS components, including voice, video, and data applications across carriers and vendors. The anticipated work includes finalizing an interoperability testing framework, developing mission-tailored testing scenarios and metrics, participating in Mission Critical Services standardization activities, supporting the evolution of service certification, and leading a stakeholder group. The anticipated period of performance is 12 months. This notice is for informational purposes and is not a request for competitive proposals; interested firms may submit capability information for agency consideration.
