Town of Wayland Legal Notice RFP #26-1024 Gravestone Conservation Project ? 2026 Update The Town of Wayland proposals for the continued conservation of gravestones in Wayland's three public cemeteries. All RFP documents will be available starting September 3, 2026 by downloading them at www.wayland.ma.us/bids.aspx. Proposals must be submitted. A voluntary site visit will be held on September 8, 2026 at 10:00am at Wayland's North Cemetery, located at 65 Old Sudbury Road, Wayland. In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B, § 6(d) the technical proposal and price proposal must be submitted separately. Proposals must be submitted via mail/overnight delivery, or can be dropped off in person to Jailyn Bratica, Management Analyst/Communications Coordinator, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 no later than September 17, 2026 at 11:00AM ET. The Town of Wayland is soliciting proposals for continued professional conservation services for approximately 1,480 historic gravestones across three public cemeteries: North Cemetery, South Cemetery (also called Centre Cemetery), and Lakeview Cemetery. The work involves treating gravestones and is classified as masonry and stonework services. The technical proposal and price proposal must be submitted separately. A voluntary site visit is scheduled at North Cemetery, and the solicitation documents are available from the Town's bids webpage.
