Description
The District seeks a firm from its approved geotechnical pool to perform a comprehensive geotechnical investigation and prepare a report for an elementary school rebuild. The scope includes borings, review of site history, seismic and groundwater analysis, infiltration testing, soil and foundation recommendations, pavement and utility guidance, and recommendations for grading, drainage, excavation, and shoring. The requested report will support foundation design and other project engineering needs. The scope also includes aerial, boundary, and ground surveys, with topographic and utility information prepared in AutoCAD-compatible formats. Respondents must provide qualifications and experience, at least three comparable California DSA K–14 project examples, a lump-sum not-to-exceed fee proposal, current rate information, and a schedule for the investigation and final report. Proposals are limited to 15 numbered pages of printed material, excluding tabs, the table of contents, and covers.
