Description
The project includes a new PG&E electrical service upgrade and demolition of the existing chain-link fence, gates, utility enclosure, and electrical equipment. Work also includes installing a new main switchboard, routing and trenching electrical service to new underground vaults, and constructing a concrete-based utility enclosure with pedestrian and utility-access gates. Trench repairs must be finished flush with adjacent surfaces. Bidders must hold California Class B and C-10 contractor licenses, be registered as public works contractors with the Department of Industrial Relations, and be prequalified by the District. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements and a Project Labor Agreement. A bid bond or cashier’s or certified check equal to 5% of the total bid is required; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk is October 23, 2026, and bids are due November 3, 2026.
