Description
Nassau BOCES is soliciting bids to establish pricing for blanket purchase agreements covering an extensive range of food, beverage, baking, dairy, meat, frozen, produce, snack, condiment, spice, and related food-service supplies. The bid includes hundreds of line items, generally priced by unit, case, box, pound, or other specified unit of issue. Products must comply with detailed brand, packaging, quality, domestic-origin, USDA, frozen-product, meat, poultry, bread, and delivery specifications; equal products may be offered where permitted, with required brand and product details disclosed. Awards may be made by individual item, class of items, or as a whole to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders. Nassau BOCES and participating cooperative entities will issue purchase orders, with deliveries generally required within 15 days after receipt of a purchase order; delivery locations are designated on purchase orders. The initial contract period is up to one year, with two possible one-year extensions by mutual agreement.
