Description
The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quotation for 12 days of field surveys for Dakota skipper and other butterflies, skippers, and skipperlings in the Little Missouri National Grassland. The work includes surveys conducted under applicable U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service protocols, habitat and weather observations, GPS collection, notification of Dakota skipper sightings, and identification of sensitive species. The lead field surveyor must hold a current U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service 10(a)(1)(A) permit for Dakota skipper at contract award. Required deliverables include a draft and final work plan, a progress report, draft and final reports, GIS point and line shapefiles with appropriate attribute data, maps, field notes, photographs, and 508-compliant final reports. Fieldwork is expected during the Dakota skipper flight window, generally from mid-June through approximately July 19, with the period of performance running from award through November 8, 2027. Quotes must include separate technical and price proposals, pricing for all schedule items, relevant past performance, technical capability, key-personnel resumes and qualifications, field-survey experience, and acknowledgment of amendments.
