Description
Maury County is soliciting bids for construction of Pottsville Fire Station No. 27, a new 10,500-square-foot fire hall and apparatus storage facility. The project includes the building, apparatus storage areas, site work, grading, drainage, utilities, paving, landscaping, demolition of existing structures, erosion and sediment control, and compliance with geotechnical recommendations. Addendum 1 requires bidders to acknowledge receipt of the addendum and submit the signed acknowledgment with their bids. It clarifies that county permit fees will be waived, allowances must be provided for tap fees and Tennessee State Fire Marshal fees, no Tennessee Department of Transportation bond is required, and the bid-opening meeting will be held at the Todd Primm Commission Room at 5 Public Square, Columbia, Tennessee. The addendum also adds specifications for concrete, structural steel, wood framing, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and related building systems, including a 200-kilowatt natural-gas generator and ADA-compliant signage.
