Description
The project involves removing existing greenbelt paths and constructing four replacement concrete path sections. Work includes saw cutting and demolition of concrete walks, asphalt paving, landscaping, and designated trees; site grading, earthwork, and drainage; concrete sidewalk, curb, and asphalt repairs; irrigation and landscape repairs; and tree preservation. The contractor must also provide associated labor, materials, equipment, permits, erosion and traffic controls, and site restoration. Plans specify concrete path construction, path striping, electrical conduit and junction boxes, and installation of park benches and litter receptacles. The contractor must perform at least 30% of the original contract amount with its own organization. Bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount is required. The bid package also requests the bidder's work percentages, subcontractor and licensing information, delivery-risk information, and current projects with completion dates.
