PUBLIC NOTICE OF RFP. NOVA Parks, a public body located at 5400 Ox Road in Fairfax Station VA, has issued an RFP for Architectural/MEP Services for a 400-sf building at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA. Description
The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority is seeking an architect-led design team to design an approximately 400-square-foot accessory building adjacent to the existing Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. The building will include an ADA restroom, kitchenette, HVAC, electrical and plumbing connections to the existing Atrium, utility connections, ADA walkways, site layout, demolition and patching plans, and complete architectural and MEP plans suitable for obtaining required building and mechanical permits. The selected team will provide architectural and MEP engineering design, specifications other than Division 01, permitting-process support, construction management, submittal review, and two or three construction-phase site visits. The architect will contract with the MEP engineer. Proposals are evaluated on project-team skills and experience, similar services and related experience, and project approach. The proposal must include an executive summary, project-team organization and qualifications, at least three current similar-service references for the offeror and proposed subconsultants, and a project approach narrative, along with the completed Offeror's Certification.
