Description
The Chesapeake Bay Trust seeks a consultant to plan, facilitate, and document a community charrette for the Town of Bridgeville focused on sustainable, nature-based stormwater solutions. The work will build on existing stormwater studies and inventories and address flooding, drainage, erosion, and water-quality concerns, particularly along the Bridgeville Branch corridor, in the historic downtown, and in older residential neighborhoods. The selected contractor will develop a work plan and charrette plan; prepare presentations, maps, worksheets, and prioritization tools; facilitate the in-person charrette; document participant input and priorities; and produce a community-wide opportunity inventory and map, prioritized project implementation matrix, funding sources matrix, and recommendations for comprehensive planning, capital planning, hazard preparedness, and future funding requests. Final products must be provided in accessible PDF and editable source formats. The maximum bid is $20,000, and all work must be completed by October 30, 2027.
